Our church was founded in 1993, the congregation was originally part of Elim Missionary Assemblies under the leadership of Pastor Miguel Garcia. Elim purchased five acres of land in the Kendall area of Miami and a few years later moved to its new location. However there were a few members (about twenty or thirty) that remained. Luis Hernandez, then the associate Pastor, remained to tend the remaining flock. The church began to grow and soon Pastor Luis was ordained as Senior Pastor and in 1995 the church became independent from Elim.
We are affiliated with and accountable to Elim Fellowship in Lima, New York, a non-denominational fellowship of churches founded in 1933. We hold true to our defining values that we believe defines the church.

Our defining values requires a response. The values that shape and define us as a church are our particular response to the biblical truths that we embrace. Simply put, our values are the practical expression of the things we believe, and are summed up in the following points:

A love for the Gospel.

An emphasis on sound doctrine.
A pursuit of the active presence of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
A pursuit of godliness through application of Biblical truth.
A commitment to relationships as a channel for God’s grace in our lives.

A heart for sharing the Gospel – individually and corporately.

Our chuch building has quite a history. The church is located in a residential neihborhood that is not zoned for places of worship, however the church building has been there (pre 1930's) as a church since before the zoning laws came into affect. Thus it is "grandfathered".

The stucture is made of wood and plastered over to give a more modern apperance. We have room for 200 worshipers and we have a full dinning/fellowship area with a full kitchen. We offer independent sunday school classes and childcare and our santuary has been blessed with state of the art sound and multimedia capabilities.
